This is the largest plant of its kind in India. The unit has been set-up by the West Bengal Green Energy Development Corporation Limited, the power from which will be purchased by DPSC Ltd. at Rs 5.00 per unit along with an additional central subsidy of Rs 10 per unit.
DFC is the US government's development finance institution. Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Limited (APSEZ) in a statement said that the US fund will support the development of deepwater shipping container terminal in the Port of Colombo.
In the near term, the key driver will still be the government's fiscal spending.
